Your Privacy Your payment details are securely transferred from you to the store database using secure socket (SSL) encryption. This technology is used by major reputable e-commerce sites throughout Australia and the world. The industry standard for encryption technology (SSL) is compatible with Internet Explorer, Netscape and most other browsers. You will know you are in a secure environment when entering your credit card information. Firstly the appearance of a security notice when you enter a secure page (depending on browser security settings). Also, a secure icon will appear on your browser. For Microsoft Internet Explorer you will see a lock icon and Netscape a key icon. A secure site can also be identified by its address. For example, when you go to the order page and reach the cheque details section, you will notice that the address starts with https://, while most pages begin with "http://". The `s’ in this instance represents security. You will see both the lock icon and the https:// address when you reach the part of the form requiring your credit card details.
